British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
